Jennifer Muller

Jennifer Muller has been the Artistic Director of the contemporary dance company, Jennifer Muller/The Works, since its inception in 1974.  Over the last 25 years, she has choreographed and written text for over 67 pieces, including five full-evening productions.  With The Works, she has toured to 37 countries/four continents, 29 states in the USA and produced 16 New York City Seasons performing at festivals and theaters worldwide: from Argentina to Canada, Hong Kong to Siberia and, stateside, in such venues as the Kennedy and Lincoln Centers and the United Nations.

Ms. Muller's work has been commissioned in 9 countries within the last 12 years alone including projects for Nederlands Dans Theater and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.  She has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Keith Haring, Yoko Ono and Keith Jarrett.  Her choreography        for the theater and opera includes productions at the Public Theater and the New York City Opera.  Most recently, her work was seen on a 10 city tour of China.
